Marriage ..
Is that the hottest topic at the moment?
for many ppls at this age group are either planning to get married or wanting to get married or what so ever.
Is it such a big deal of getting married ?
I thought at this day and age
women like to be more independence
surviving on their own.....
or have i guessed wrong?
Imagine ..
you are already hooked with a partner
having invited to a wedding ..
both went along..
and whole nite receiving questions like
"So.. are you getting married in the near future?"
"are you guys planning to get married?"
"you should get married soon, while you are still young"...etc
then you will be spending the other half of the night answering ...
um... smiles and nodds
trying to avoid the questions or just plainly pretend that u didnt hear it at all....
or You are single
you could answer like
"nah.. i can look after myself, i dont need a guy"
"i'm just to busy to be thinking of that now"
or just the easiest
"sorry, im just not interested in men, i prefer women..."
that last comment, i think would only work in foreign countries i suppose...
Asians are kinda more traditional or another way more gossipy
If that comment was made in front of elders
i think that a mini ~ medium storm would arise in the family or the surrounding community..
everyone talking about the latest gossip ...
"have you heard what happened at XXX wedding, xxx said that she was xxxx"
so .. i dont think ppl would be saying that often at any ocassion wat so ever.
Also . . we need to put in mind that the advantages and the disadvantages of marriage
lets start with some questions that can help you decide
you've found your soul mate?
you cant live with out the other half?
financially supported for the rest of the life?
both being treated equally?
getting along with their family?
does my friends like them?
you sure you wanna see their face every single morning?
will they be good father/mother?
there are just too much questions to think of ...
but.. who knows when u really meet the right person, you are going to change your views on marriage again .....
